Diagnostic fees
Diagnostic fees cover the technician's time to assess the appliance and quote the repair. They are non-refundable once the diagnostic has been completed, regardless of whether you choose to proceed with the repair.
Repairs that don't resolve the issue
If a repair we performed does not resolve the issue it was intended to fix, contact us within the warranty window and we'll return at no additional labour charge to re-diagnose. If the original repair was incorrect, we'll refund the labour for that repair and apply anything we recover toward the corrected repair.
Parts returns
Installed parts are not returnable for refund once installed. Uninstalled parts (special-order parts that haven't yet been fitted) may be returnable subject to the supplier's policy; we'll communicate terms before placing the order.
Unrepairable appliances
If the diagnostic reveals that the appliance can't be economically repaired (failed sealed system on an older fridge, for example), the diagnostic fee still applies — the work to determine this was real. We will not charge for labour or parts on a repair we recommend against.
How to request a refund
Contact us at the phone number or email on your receipt with your repair number and a brief explanation. We'll review and respond within a few business days.
Payment methods
Refunds are processed back to the original payment method where possible. Refunds for cash payments are issued by cheque or e-Transfer within a reasonable time frame.
